Seven students and three accompanying teachers for the schools of our consortium visited Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 w Sępólnie Krajeńskim for group student mobility activities between 29/5/2023 and 2/6/2023 as part of the Art is everywhere project. Teachers from the hosting school organized various activities for our students.
Monday 29/5/2023
The opening ceremony and the presentations of our schools and students were held at the city hall, where we met with the mayor. After that, we visited the school for Ice-breaking activities, and we also participated in the Majówka, a school feast of the Children’s Day. Students also participated in football and basketball matches along with local students.
Tuesday 30/05/2023
Local teachers and students presented the school and the educational system of Poland to our students and teachers. For the rest of the working day, students worked in mixed groups in various cultural awareness workshops using ICT.
Wednesday 31/05/2023
Our team, accompanied by local students and teachers, visited Torun for sightseeing with an English-speaking guide. We also visited Młyn Wiedzy, a science center for students.
Thursday 01/05/2023
Our students attended cultural workshops and group activities at school. They also had the chance to participate in everyday classes. In the afternoon, our hosts organized a disco event for all the students and teachers at school.
Friday 02/05/2023
We visited the Polish village, a few kilometers outside Sepolno, where our students participated in outdoor activities like biking and horseback riding.
