Three teachers from two schools of our consortium (5th Primary School of Florina and Primary School of Ydrousa) visited Radu Tudoran School in Brăila, Romania during 13-17/05/2024 for job shadowing activities.
Main goals of this LTTA were:
- To learn about teaching methodologies and lesson activity design concerning inclusion and cultural diversity
- To Learn about the educational system and the school organisation
- To attend English classes to learn how they teach a CLIL lesson on preventing bullying and generating empathy
- To learn about design thinking activities
- To learn about multiculturalism awareness
During their stay at the school our staff had the chance to participate in the following activities and tasks:
- Meeting with the staff from school and kindergarden
- Experiential activities about tolerance and multiculturality
- Observation and participation in a lesson on personal development for 1st graders on physical , cultural, intellectual differences between people
- Participation in an Art lesson in Kandinsky method to promote values like acceptance , equality and multiculturality
- Performance show with traditional dances and songs of various nations that live together in Braila for centuries
- Observation and participation in music lesson One world, the children’s world!
- Observation and participation in a CLIL lesson in English on behaviours like agressiveness and bullying and how to control them.
- Rythmic activities in kindergarten
- Traditions in designing Romanian houses around Braila region
